| Introduction | Currently, I am working as Assistant Professor in the department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, GMR Institute of Technology, India. I completed my PhD in 2019. As a motivated researcher and diligent learner, I have developed expertize in the areas of optimal control, sliding mode control, optimization, power system operation and control. During my doctoral studies, I have focused more on the stability issues of power systems, integration of wind energy to grid and challenges with the conventional controllers. I have proposed a power system stabilizer based on SDRE observer-controller scheme and a disturbance observer based sliding mode frequency control of multi-area power systems. I have developed a robust controller for DFIG based wind energy system. Apart from knowledge in power systems, I have good insight in application of power electronics and developed an optimal speed controller for BLDC motor in dSPACE. I have good track record of publications in journals of international repute and in top rated conferences. I am rigorous reader of books and research articles and have passion towards learning new techniques. I have both academic and research experience. |
