| Introduction | I am a middle aged man searching for fulfillment in my relationship with my wife, children and church. As I am determined to have the best marriage possible, I am finding that I long to serve and please my wife. This is a departure from my previous veiw of the husband/wife, the man must lead mentality of the church I grew up in. I am becoming more and more convinced that the man must lead in being a servent, meeting the needs of my wife before my own. In putting her needs first my needs are met. This topic has been at the formost of my thoughts for a couple of years now and I am learning more about myself and my wife every day. |
