| Introduction | My name is Kevin Watson, I am 21 years old (birthday was in December) and I am in my 4th and final semester of the Practical Nursing program. I am the youngest of 8 kids (2 of which I have never met) and I am also soon to be the first to graduate from college. Both my parents were born in Jamaica, my mom was born and raised in Kingston while my dad was brought up in St. Thomas (East of Kingston), and both fled to Canada to escape the violence that took over the island during the 1980 general election. I was born in North York, Toronto and I lived in Rexdale of the first 4 years of my life, I then moved to Streetsville (Mississauga) where I lived for 9 years, then moved to Brampton, and lived there for 4 years (went to St. Edmund Campion for high school). After this I moved to Malton (Mississauga), where I currently have been living for the past 3 years. |
