| Introduction | I'm one of the lucky ones. I've been challenged throughout my life and I enjoy challenging myself even more. I'm married and have two married daughters and two grandchildren. My wife and I have been fortunate to have had many careers, owned several businesses, and lived in many places. As I said, I’m one of the lucky ones. Since the age of two I’ve walked with crutches, as a young adult I learned I was a Type 1 diabetic, and several years ago I had two heart attacks leading to bypass surgery. I call them challenges but I don’t mean it in a negative sense. I couldn’t imagine going through life without these wonderful opportunities to challenge myself every day. From the moment I wake until I go to bed at night, I’m entertained. |
