| Introduction | Dr. Nicholas Macedon OCD became a Carmelite priest on July 16, 2013. He holds degrees in Philosophy (BA) and Theology (B.TH), along with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) and a Master of Science (M.Sc) in Psychology. Fr. Nicholas completed his Licentiate in Church History (EHL) at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome. Additionally, he received a diploma in spirituality and completed a certificate course in psychological formation and archives studies in Rome. He earned his Doctoral Research (PhD) in Clinical Psychology. He also served as a Provincial Secretary for three years in the Tamil Nadu OCD Province. He has worked in the parish, formation community, and shrine, demonstrating pastoral and spiritual abilities. He possesses extensive experience and knowledge in administration, formation, and spiritual and pastoral work. Passionate about Carmelite spirituality and tradition, he has contributed to the field through historical studies and psychology, drawing from his experiential background in theology and Scripture. He authored a Tamil book about St. Therese of Child Jesus titled “சிறுவழி தந்தவளே,” based on his archival studies, and an English book about St. John of the Cross. |
