| Introduction | "Anorexics like you..." She said it! That word. That word I thought I'd never hear. The nutritionist who was going to convince my daughter to just eat changed our lives as we knew it by referring to her as an "anorexic". Up until that point, I guess I was in denial. She was just picky, having a bad day, felt insecure...I knew better. I dreaded this diagnoses like cancer...however, the more I am learning about it, the more determined I am to be involved in her care. I will not sit by and watch this happen. She needs us. She needs me. She needs food. |
