| Introduction | Originally born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, I now live in Brooklyn, NY, though the Windy City is, and always will be, my first love. I've self-published one novel - "Falling Down" and a collection of short stories - "Mystery, Malevolence & Murder." In July of 2009 I completed Volume Two of MM&M, and am in the middle of rewrites for my second novel, titled "Lux Ex Tenebris (Light From Darkness). On September 1, 2010 I launched my independent literary press - Another Shore Press, LLC (www.anothershorepress.com). I graduated from St. Ignatius College Preparatory in Chicago (Class of 1988), received my BA in Creative Writing from SUNY Empire State College and am a graduate of The City College of New York, where I earned my MFA in Creative Writing. In December of 2017, I completed a Master of Arts in Urban Studies at the CUNY School of Professional Studies and am applying for doctoral studies in Sociology.
