Introduction	Hi, I'm John and, after spending the majority of my adult life in an unforgiving occupation, I am embarking on a major career change. Back in the academic saddle again; pursuing a Master's degree in my first love. A love affair neglected for way too long while participating in this perpetual fugue state called life.
Interests	Reading and writing poetry and Gothic fiction. Also a huge fan of studio arts; classical art, film media, or graphic design and Photoshop.

Favorite Music	Classic rock - from the Beatles and Def Leopard to more modern stuff like Linkin Park and Avenged Sevenfold
Favorite Books	Bible, Anything by Shakespeare, John Steinbeck, Aldous Huxley, Joy Harjo, Milton, Earl Stanley Gardner, and Aristotle's Metaphysics and History of Animals.
