About me

Gender Female
Occupation Animal Behavior and Training
Location United States
Introduction After 11+ years in the field of Education, I decided to escape the confines of the classroom and begin a new career as an Animal Behavior Consultant. This blog is a running account of the animal-related experiences I've had, problems that I've encountered, opinions that I've formed, and an overview of what I see happening in the field. I will be journaling my training sessions, observations, and overall experiences with a variety of species, and at times, I'm sure I will find myself asking “–why, exactly, did I ever think I could do this?" This site is not designed for profit, nor will it serve to be a prototype for the perfect training program. I will make mistakes and face unprecedented challenges, but I will know joy and meaning from what I am doing. My ramblings, for better or worse, will reflect this incredible opportunity, the beauty of life in Sweden, and the importance of following one’s heart…no matter what age! I invite anyone who has a genuine love for animals and this earthly place we call ‘home’, to write.
