| Introduction | So you can get an idea about me I will give you just a little background information. I turned 38 (oh god) this year. At the present time I´m living in Stockholm with my husband, our 14 year old daughter, 12 year old son, two dogs and a cat. The last 8 years we´ve been moving around the world. Cause of this is my husbands job. Our stations in the last years: Chile, Argentina, Mexico and now Sweden. Originally we are from Germany. My passion always has been cooking. Although in "young years" I have decided against a chefs career in the last moment and kept cooking as a hobby. Sometimes I regret this step but on the other hand I wouldn´t have my wonderful family and this exciting life we are living now if I hadn´t. Cooking for me is almost like meditation. I can spend in fact DAYS in my kitchen to prepare a really sophisticated dinner or a party and still love what I´m doing. A lot of people can´t understand this - I´m sure YOU can. One of the greatest pleasures for me is to buy a new cookbook and just sink into it for hours and get out pen and paper to plan a menu.. I can really get carried away on this subject... |
