Introduction Equally drawn to all elements of style and design, my inspiration and approach is eclectic. I believe good design is good design regardless of its label. My taste and approach regarding art is just as diverse. I create and collect what I find visually appealing and stimulating. Mediums cross and decorative art, design and fine art blend into one another. Extensive study in decorative arts enables me to create a vast range of finishes and ornamentation.
Interests I have for the last seven years lived and contracted in the Boise, ID market as Faux Haus. Boise has been good to me, but I am ready for a change. I am planning a move and I have renamed my decorative finsh company to Ornamentum(www.ornamentumonline.com)(www.ornamentumonline.blogspot.com). In addition I am launching two new ventures, the first being Cab Rehab, a business specializing in cabinet refinishing (www.cabrehab.com)(www.cabrehab.blogspot.com), the second being Method "The nuts and bolts of decorative finshing", a subscription based online resource tool and sample source (www.methodfinishing.com)(www.methodfinishing.blogspot.com). I am excited to announce that I will be developing curriculum and guest instructing in 2009. My first class is tentatively scheduled for May 2009 and is being hosted by Faux Assured Studio, Salt Lake City UT. The five day class will cover wall, ceiling, ornamentation, and architectural finishes grouped into complete room schemes. Further details and final dates will be posted soon, on www.ornamentumonline.com and at www.fauxassured.com . I am also working on a three day curriculum for Chicago Institute of Fine Finishes.
