Introduction	I am a soon to be published children's book author & illustrator, Ok aspiring children's book author & illustrator. (cross your fingers for me.) Soon after my son was born I began reading to him, a lot. This made me remember how much I loved children's books. I was also struggling with some sort of inner need to try and reach out to the world, I felt a responsibility to at least try to have a positive impact. (yes I have been called an idealist a time or two.) Eventually I decided that the best way I could do this was to hone my craft as a story teller. My son is now six and I still read to him and his little sister all the time.
