| Introduction | I am the spouse/caregiver of an OIF war Vet. We have been married 15 years and we have a 12 year old son together. My husband was diagnosed with severe PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) in 2006, after his return from Iraq. Due to this he medically retired 2 years later. In the beginning of 2009 he hit a real rough spot and was diagnosed with a TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) through the VA. To some it may seem crazy, but this is our live. |
