| Introduction | I have been teaching since 1986. I write, read,and I have studied the guitar, piano, and bagpipes. I don't play the bagpipes anymore. I have most recently decided to pursue learning and practising art. As a teacher, I have always had an interest in how students learn, and how to help reluctant students learn more successfully and sometimes more willingly. |

| Favorite music | I love all kinds of music, from pop to rock, from jazz to classical. I even enjoy the odd aria. I am picky about the country I listen to. My current favorite music is anything by Marc Jordan. |
| Favorite books | Most recently, I have followed in my wife's footsteps by exploring the British Cottage mystery. Although, as I age, I find myself drawn more and more to non-fiction. |
