| Introduction | My name is Erica Stanciu. I'm going to school for my degree to become a registered nurse. As a hobby and something that makes a decent amount of money, I write. There are currently two books published under my name with one more coming in about two weeks. I'm recently married and have a little boy on the way. As you can see, I live in Las Vegas, NV. Let me clear up some myths about this city. 1. No, we don't live in casinos. That would be awesome but really expensive. 2. I actually hate the strip and hate when people out of state want to go down there. 3. Yes, we have more than just palm trees. 4. When people say, "Thank goodness it rained, we really need it." That is false. We live in desert and do not need rain. What we need is for it to snow in Colorado since that's where our water comes from. 5. We have schools. I don't go to school in a casino. Again, that would be awesome but very expensive. 6. Las Vegas has many residential areas. Some you can;t even see the strip from. I hope that cleared up some of the myths.
