| Introduction | Hi! As I ponder what to write here, I find that describing myself right now is a difficult thing to do. I am a woman - 48 years young - and I have come to the conclusion that I am not who I thought I would be - I am not yet what I hope to become - and yet in the middle of it all I want to be a great mom to adult and teen children, a true friend to my best friend, a decently loving and supportive wife for my husband and an ever growing child of God. I've been through love, marriage, betrayal, loss, depression and health problems. I have found beauty in tiny squares of grass in the US as well as at the foot of majestic Mt. Kilimanjaro. I love brand new chubby faces and older, wiser lined faces. I have made it through some of these experiences with my family, some with friends, and all of life with Jesus. I plan to use this blog solely to navigate my thoughts into safe harbor. Anyone who happens upon this blog out of curiosity - Welcome!
