| Introduction | I grew up in Ottumwa, IA and had some crazy experiences during my time there. They continued after I started college at Iowa State University. Then there was six years in Bloomington, IN at Indiana University where I studied for my Ph.D. and had some of the most enriching times of my life. I taught Truman State University and lived in Kirksville, MO for 10 years. That is where I met my wife. We now live in Topeka, KS. I teach statistics and actuarial science at Washburn University. I travel, make beer, solve problems, and have opinions about the world. And I want to tell you all about it. |
