Introduction I was born at a very exciting time in history. Old ways were going out and new ways of life was coming in. In 1947, the only transportation for many of my people on the Navajo Reservation was horses and wagons. Like many of us, children back then I grew up with no modern luxuries. I have been very grateful for growing up in this life style, I learned a lot from my simple way of life. I also had the privilege of living with white families that took me into their homes during the school months in Utah. I also had the experience of living at Flagstaff Boarder Town Indian school. in Flagstaff, Arizona for my Jr High and High school years. After which I went to live in California for a few years. After which I attended Brigham Young University. I was active with the Synchronized Swimming team, Shotokan karate and BYU Survival Programs. I went on a mission to South Dakota Rapid City Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints out of Utah. After which I came home and married. Ron Bowman and we have four children and four grand-daughter. I love to share my talents and my knowledge of my way of life. So, I hope that you enjoy my Blog.
