| Introduction | I've been playing with make-up as long as I can remember, well at least since I was tall enough to get into the medicine cabinet. And I would put make-up on anything that would sit still, much to the dog and my cousin Patrick's distaste. As I've gotten older, I have never lost my love of the creativity of make-up, I just got waylaid a little. In 2006 I joined the military as a means to pay for college, and as beneficial as my service has been, it hasn't left me much room to be a girl. Follow that with some interesting personal life trials and college courses and responsibilities and it's easy to see how anyone could lose a dream. But here I am a few years later, a little bit wiser, and within a year of the end of my enlistment and I'm ready to take on this challenge. I am going to try and become a make-up artist. |
