Introduction	Who am I..? I am Julie, and I live in sunny Queensland (Australia) with my husband and 2 children. I only started sewing during my pregnancy with my daughter (in 2008) when my maternal hormones kicked in. Since then, I've found many things I want to make, and have had a go at a few. 2011 is all about maternity leave for me, so I hope to tackle many sewing adventures this year (as well as bond with my gorgeous new son). I am going to try to love 'boy fabrics' more and I guess I will have to learn some sewing skills (as I suspect shorts and shirts are more technical than skirts and twirly dresses). And amidst my sewing blog posts, I like to talk a bit about this parenting journey that I'm on. I tend to write when the parenting days are hard - and find the process quite therapeutic/confessional. What else, I love country music and I am obsessed with Soulemama. I love her blog and I check it every day. I feel like those are things you should know about me (didn't I say blogging was confessional?).
