Introduction	Retired from library work. Have lived in Delaware, New Jersey, Cincinnati, Kansas City as my husband was transferred. I lost my husband in 2009. This is a new life, and I am still feeling its contours. One thing I am sure of is that I want to travel. I see some advantages in being able to explore on my own: I can change plans on a dime, economize where I want to, and don't have to worry if my partner is having a good time! I'm going to be a little constrained by finances and responsibilities at home (2 big dogs, 4 cats), but will find a way. I have a son and two daughters - all grown and doing well - and some good friends - riches enough. So this blog will be about my life alone, and I hope a good part of it will be about traveling - both in my mind and on the road. Ciao!
