| Introduction | I am a Holistic Health Educator, Ayurveda Nutritionist, Registered Yoga Teacher and Healing Foods Chef. I have a Masters Degree in Integrative Health and Healing. In addition, I have certifications in various healing practices such as Clinical Aromatherapy, Herbalism, Reflexology, Reiki and Chakra Balancing. I completed my first book entitled "The Holistic Root to Managing Anxiety" which is available for sale on this blog as well as Amazon and Barnes & Noble.com. I have also written shows on Holistic Health and Healing. I obtained a certification in Plant Based Nutrition from Cornell University. My other great passion is cooking. I received a certificate in Pastry and Baking from the Institute of Culinary Education and have studied vegetarian and vegan cooking at the Natural Gourmet Institute. | Favorite movies | Wow, this is a tough one. There are many but the ones that come to mind are: The Color Purple, To Kill a Mockingbird, Cinema Paradiso, It's a Wonderful Life, The Bishops Wife, Patch Adams, Fried Green Tomatoes. Also love old movies from the 1940's, 50's and 60's. |
| Favorite music | Healing sound music, meditation music, music from different cultures (love music from India!), jazz, classical and gospel. Anything performed by Take 6. They are my favorite group of all time! |
| Favorite books | Anything written by Louise Hay, Dr, Christiane Northrup, Dr. Maya Angelou, Dr. Wayne Dyer, Thich Nhat Hanh, Osho, Deepak Chopra, Eckhart Tolle, Dalai Lama, Dr. Bernie Siegel, Marianne Williamson and the list goes on. There are too many to remember but as you can tell, I love inspirational books. I also love cookbooks even though I don't follow recipes! I like to create my own! |
