Favorite Music	Everything except country and death metal. Like 70s and 80s stuff, Ravel, Mozart, Chopin, klezmer music, Ofra Haza, The Buena Vista Social Club soundtrack kind of Latin music, the erhu and the sound of silence.
Favorite Books	Currently am in love with Graham Greene, Lincoln Child & Douglas Preston (love their character Agent Pendergast), most British and Irish chick-lit authors, Kathy Reichs...mostly medical and forensic thrillers, with some bubbly, escapist stuff thrown in every once in a while as fodder.
