| Location | Virginia, United States |
| Introduction | Married 40+ years to a loving and giving man, who has a servant's heart, and pastors a Southern Baptist Church (of the conservative flavor). Did I mention he is handsome?! I also have three sons, two daughters in law, and six grandchildren. Oh yes, "mom" to Tessie, a very sweet but spoiled rat terrier. Served as a Le Leche League Leader. Graduated with BS in Nursing in 1992. Certified as a lactation consultant in 1994. Assisted in developing the "Mother's Milk Express" program in the NICU at a local children's hospital. Worked as a staff LC with new moms in various health care systems. Currently teaching breastfeeding and childbirth classes, and providing staff education in the hospital and physician office setting as well as conference planning. *Disclaimer: This blog reflects my personal opinions only, and not necessarily those of any organization or employer with which I am affiliated.
