| Introduction | I am a "Primitive" western artist. (so I am told). My art shows "motion" and "emotion". Howdy, After high school, where I played football, baseball, boxing, I entered the U.S. Navy. Went to War, and cruised on yachts at Taxpayer expense. Actually they were heavily armed yachts, but no matter. I returned to TEXAS (all caps cause it is TEXAS) never to leave it again. I have two children and five grandchildren that I am very proud of. My wife (the only one I have ever had) was my childhood sweatheart. We have a wonderful life full of horses, grandkids, and our many interests. I began to do art when I was barely old enough to hold a pencil. We sculpted clay my Dad brought home to make "indians on horseback" complete with shields and weapons. Hardened in the kitchen oven they lasted for many days of play and battle. Thus began my love of art. Teachers later would take my pen and pencil away from me in an attempt to get me to listen to lectures or reports. I don't remember any of them. But I can draw a flower; the back of my hand; or anything I "see", my way! To me Art has no Rules! Dan bunch |
