Introduction	I was born and raised in Tehachapi, CA. After graduating from high school in Tehachapi, I attended UCLA and graduated with a BA in History and completed my Elementary Teaching Credential in 1971. I worked for the ABC Unified School District for 34 years as a teacher and eventually an elementary school principal. I retired in 2005 and the following year my wife and I moved to Fairview, OR [near Portland]. We love to travel, spend time with our children and grandchildren and participate in our church.
