| Introduction | With science becoming more media-friendly and pages promoting science becoming more and more popular, I felt it was time to set this up! Unfortunately, only the pretty or the flashy or the controversial stuff ever really becomes widely talked about and I think that's a shame! Talking of controversial - theres plenty of pages on here with an anti-science or a pseudoscientific agenda - and people are fast buying into it. And scientists are to blame - we don't do a good job of explaining our work to you so you may not be able to make an informed choice! So I'll be including posts about the mundane day to day lab work that leads to great things, summarising the big developments into the key facts and debunking the naysayers! Real scientific processes. Real science - not just the flashy, pretty stuff. And regular debunking of bad science. This is - The Life of Sci! |
