| Introduction | I live and have a studio surrounded by subtropical rainforest. My first degree was in zoology, then came a masters in medical biophysics. More recently I returned to UNSW to study for a Master of Art Theory writing a thesis: 'seeking the shadows: alternative ways of conceiving quilts and the processes of quiltmaking'(2005). I continue to write essays and reviews. I make quilts as well, I find them a form of meditation. Book making/binding combines my love of language, story and the handmade object. I am married with three sons. |
