| Introduction | James P. Nealy II (Japiro) was born November 4th, 1981. Japiro's name recognition as well as rousing lyrics and top notch production make him a stand out. Japiro earned his Bachelors of Science in Public Relations from Morgan State University in 2004. James began writing & producing music by the age of 11 in Northeast Baltimore, Maryland. James began crafting hits during his years of high school with Alcatrez & Panama to form the group formerly known as M.E.P - The Producers. The Producers worked with numerous artists to build one of the deepest catalogs in entertainment history. James became an elite rapper by defeating challengers 6 consecutive weeks on Baltimore's Own 92Q cypher line in 1999. Also, he won "The Heritage 50 MC Battle" in March of 2002 & "The 5 Seasons Battle" hosted by C-Love in March of 2006. James writes and records music at unstoppable pace. James' concepts and creativity take music back to "What music used to be" and that is QUALITY! Japiro continues to be a primary influence as Writer/Artist/Producer on the Baltimore Hip-Hop scene. |
