Introduction	Welcome to the our blog and the journey of raising our little girl and our whirlwind lives. In 2005 my husband was injured in Iraq while serving his 3rd deployment, getting used to the changes that it brought our family we had another devastating event happen. About 2 years ago we lost a little girl, Sofia, to HELLP syndrome, on Christmas Eve 2007. She was born at 26 weeks and weighed 13.2 oz. This was a devastating turn of events for my family. We were told we would never be able to have another baby. Having lost Sofia, my first born child this was heartbreaking, but with my husband, family and friends by my side we made it through. Imagine our surprise on Oct 9th 2008 when we found out we were expecting another baby. It was a complete shock as we had just wrapped our heads around not being able to have another baby. Through a pretty intense pregnancy we finally welcomed our beautiful little angel, Ashelyn Sofia! Born May 12, 2009 5lbs 13.3oz, 17 3/4 in Our little dream come true!
Interests	Anything and everything that has to with my baby girl. Photography, Shooting, flip flops, NOS energy drinks, the beach, bon fires, Ice cold drinks, Diet 7up w/ malibu rum!
