| Introduction | I'm all about liberal arts-intensive undertakings. I've been published (and some of my stuff is in the Library of Congress. WHOO HOO). I've acted on stage for a variety of real live - i.e. paying - theatre companies. I used to do a lot of artwork, which I sold. Most of my income is from selling antiques and other old stuff, plus the occasional writing gig, plus my part-time job as a standardized patient, i.e. playing sick for money. I'm well on my way to being a Crazy Cat Lady, with a side order of end-stage geekiness, i.e. I also write fan fiction. I love old movies and pickleball and agateware. My claims to fame: I was on Jeopardy some years ago, and came in second. In a restaurant job I some years after that, I waited on Marvin Hamlisch. He had a bowl of onion soup, a glass of wine, and a glass of iced tea.
