About me

Gender Female
Occupation Missionary
Location Toalmas, Hungary
Introduction My wonderful husband, Paul, and I are missionaries with Word of Life. We serve in the country of Hungary with the Word of Life Bible Institute. Paul is the Director of the Bible Institute and teaches several of the courses within the school. I am currently finishing my degree through Liberty University's online Distance Learning Program. By the end of May, 2010, I hope to have completed my degree in Business Management, and will be able to help the Bible School administratively. Right now my days are filled with lots of studying, cleaning, hostessing, and cooking. We definately have a busy, but wonderful life. Praise the Lord! I am a domestic diva! Anything that has to do with homemaking is an interest for me. I love experimenting with different recipes, ingredients, and products whether it be cooking or baking. Of course, I always have to have a clean house, which could work to my detriment if other priorities need to come first. And I love to sew, although fabric is very expensive here in Hungary. I currently have lots of little sewing projects since we just moved into a rental house in the village. It definately needs some TLC and a woman's touch.
Interests cooking, baking, sewing, gardening, volleyball, politics, economics, anything crafty, a good book
Favorite Movies I don't really care for movies, probably because I have a short attention span. If I had to choose one, it would be "That Thing You Do."
Favorite Music If you asked me three years ago, I would have listed artists such as Jars of Clay, Jeremy Camp, and Jack Johnson. I still like this music, but for the past couple years, I have basically been listening to news radio. I like Rush the most, but settle for Fox News Radio most of the time!
Favorite Books Loving God with All Your Mind, Pretense, The Pursuit of Holiness, What Jackie Taught Us

Why can't I find Parmesan cheese in Hungary?!
