Introduction	Yu Juanjuan was born in Beijing, China in 1958. Having lived most of her life in a huge city she had a yearning to see what was outside of Beijing. In 1987 she left on a bike journey around the border of China. She was the leader of a group of five bicyclists. It took her two years to travel over 25,000 miles or 40,000 kilometers, to complete this trip, the distance is equivalent of the circumference of the earth.
