Introduction	This humble little blog is an effort by my husband and I -- and trusty traildog Cody -- to document our hiking and backpacking forays in the Pacific Northwest. We moved to Seattle last year, and we continue to be awed by the incredible hikes and natural beauty of this area. Since we are forever forgetting names of trails, mixing up mountains, and misplacing directions, this blog is an attempt to record all the hikes we do, along with their corresponding information, in one place. (We should have done this years ago!) This blog is also for faraway friends and family, who can't travel to these amazing places with us. And, we hope hikers can find some useful information here to help them plan their own trips.
