Introduction	On the evening of Tuesday, August 23, 2011, my husband of 28 years collapsed at home. Attempts to resuscitate him failed, and he died. That day began a journey of grief, a road I never expected to travel until I was old and feeble. These are my thoughts as I take this journey. I am compelled to write down my experience and share. It's therapeutic for me. These blogs are also meant to help my friends & family understand what I am experiencing. They are meant to give anyone walking this path a true, clear view of what the death of a spouse is like. Most of all, it's to give the reader HOPE! Hope of the resurrection, Hope of eternal life, Hope that we will indeed be reunited with our loved ones, forever. We are never meant to get "stuck" in our grief, that's why its a journey. Come along with me, on my journey of grief. It's Faith, Family & Friends that are seeing me through. My journey is also sprinkled with Angels along the way, being there at just the perfect moment! God is SO GOOD!
