| Introduction | Hi I'm a 41 year old Christian/husband/father of 3/jail minister/water plant supervisor . The small Midwest town that I live in is in great need of God's grace and wisdom. As I try to listen for God's will and direction in my life, I have found that there are people within my church that are called to missions work in many ways but are limited by resources, location etc. and quite simply, don't know where to begin. I also found people in my very own community that WANT to learn about God and WANT to have a relationship with Him. Would you believe that they actually CHOOSE to be put on a list for people to come talk with them? WOW!!! These people are in our county jail. I have been meeting with men in the McDonough County Jail for the past several years. I am able to visit every other Sunday and have both small group and one on one studies with any of the men that request it. Usually about 10 men meet with me for periods of 3 to 6 months. This jail ministry is only the beginning of what God has led myself, my family and others to step out and do within our commmunity and beyond. Please join with us in whatever way you are led by Him.
