Introduction	I've had the opportunity to study music and voice for almost five years now. Since beginning the study of voice back in high school, I've followed the path of becoming a music major in vocal performance at my university. Currently, I am a mezzo-soprano in my third year and I am aiming to go on to grad school to continue my studies in vocal performance. At this point in my vocal education I'm beginning to realize that I have learned many things about the voice, how to use it and how to perfect it. I've also learned much about the repertoire that all beginning singers and mezzo-sopranos must learn. Although I have learned a lot, I still have much more to discover before I become a full-fledged professional singer. In this blog I hope to address the various struggles and lessons I come across as a singer while this semester progresses. Also with the help of this blog, I hope to perhaps provide advice to other aspiring singers facing the same issues as myself.
