| Introduction | I write to add my voice as a religious scholar, person of color and thinking woman of faith to important cultural conversations that impact people’s lives. I am the Assistant Professor of Practical Theology at Lancaster Theological seminary, and have taught/lectured at Chicago Theological Seminary, Emory University’s Candler School of Theology and Interdenominational Theological Center.
