| Introduction | KT Roland is an author, speaker, educator, coach, and dedicated multiple myeloma advocate. A journalism graduate from Indiana University with a certification in Social and Behavioral Research, she combines investigative precision with heartfelt storytelling to educate, inspire, and foster greater understanding of life with blood cancer. Following her diagnosis with multiple myeloma in March 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, KT transformed her personal journey into a mission of education, encouragement, and advocacy. Through her educational platform, Myeloma For Life, she shares evidence-based information, firsthand experiences, and resources that empower patients, caregivers, and families navigating a myeloma diagnosis. When she is not writing or advocating for the myeloma community, KT enjoys restoring her historic Indiana home with her husband, Lance, exploring topics in human behavior, spending time with family, and celebrating every rebirthday as a reminder that life is a gift.
