| Introduction | Hello and Welcome! I am the West Virginia IFYE this year and I am honored to be representing my state. For those of you that do not know me, I have just recently graduated from WVU with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology (Laboratory work!). I decided to apply to be the IFYE this year because I love to travel and meet new people, as well as give something back to the extraordinary 4-H program that I have been in my whole life. I am 23 years old and believe that this will be a life-changing experience! I am planning on posting blogs every week or so and hope to have pictures as well. So, I will to keep you up to date with my activities! I am new to this "blogging business," but it's worth a shot...here goes nothing! |
| Interests | I'm sure that you can probably already tell that I am and always have been an avid 4-Her. I have been an exchange camper to Grant, Preston County as well as attending Conservation Camp for two years. I have also attended YAC, OMC, Alpha I and Alpha II camps over the course of my life. I went to Potomac State College for my fist 2 years of college and played on the Lady Cat's Soccer Team. I enjoy traveling, tennis and Swing Dancing. As for current events, I have just recently graduated and will probably go on to graduate school, but have delayed that in order to participate as the IFYE this year. |
| Favorite Movies | I like all sorts of movies...but I must say that my favorite would have to be Jane Austen's "Pride & Prejudice, " The A&E version with Colin Firth is my favorite!!!! |
| Favorite Music | I enjoy all genres of music, especially Celtic. |
| Favorite Books | I read mostly romantic mysteries, but my current favorite has to be "The DaVinci Code." |
