| Introduction | I am five years old. I weigh 6.4 kilos. I am a Maine Coon cross. I live in a Victorian cottage in the Forest of Dean with my two human Mums. Unlike my smaller fellow felines, my character is close to that of a dog. I am easy to train, always come to my name and like to be at my Mums' side a lot of the time. I am curious and intelligent and very useful when the Mums are using the computer, gardening or cooking. I talk a good deal and don't sleep much during the day. This diary is shared by the latest addition to our household, Misty. At the time of writing this, Misty is an eight week-old kitten. She, also has long fur and (I say this grudgingly) is particularly attractive, being grey with black face and paws. She is, however, never going to grow to more than a third of my majestic proportions. I hope that you will be amused and informed by our accounts of our life in the Forest. |
