| Introduction | I'm 17 years old. I began working at a horse barn 15 minutes from my home almost four years ago. I'm a working student there and I'm being given lessons in dressage. I love it though it is extremely difficult most days to perfect my imperfections. I laugh when I think that some people declare that horseback riding is not a sport. The horse I ride is a 23-year-old Hanoverian mare name Whitney. She's a bay with a white snip and sock. She's a snuggly little doll at 16 hands and I love her to death! Up until Whitney got EPM about 10 years ago, she was schooling Grand Prix is dressage. She's a smooth mover though she has her own aches and pains in her older years. I ride a few other horses now and then, but Whitney is my buddy. You'll hear more about Whit, others, and myself and you read what I chronicle in Confessions Of A Horsewoman. Enjoy! |
