About me

Location Concord, CA
Introduction My name is Rebecca Barrett. I am 19 and very politically active. The first political campaign I worked on was fighting the Governors recall election; I was only in the 8th grade. Since then I have interned for State Senator Torlakson and Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and continued to work on many different campaigns. I am also working on my own campaign, since I am running for Democratic Central Committee. A lot of people have asked me why I am running and the answer to that is simple: I want to continue to fighting for the progressive values we all believe in, capture the youth vote in Contra Costa and bring a breath of fresh air to the Central Committee. I can only hope that my candidacy does achieve those goals.
