| Introduction | I've worked as a fashion designer for 12 years. After working for Armani Exchange for 8 years, I had an epiphany: instead of working for other companies, I might as well do it for myself. My venture started strong, with such miraculous happenings as getting into Barney’s my first season – always a dream of mine – followed by Intermix, Henri Bendel, Fred Segal and Ron Herman the following seasons. My four years in business became a roller coaster ride of success and failure, and an amazing experience. However, due to the declining economy, I no longer had the capital resources to support my infrastructure. Which brings me to this. I wanted to try blogging, and what better timing?
