| Introduction | I believe music is not created nor enjoyed alone...musicians are members of a very special family. Being a musician, my life has intersected with people of all ages and backgrounds and has experienced many places and situations. My parents introduced me to the piano at age 4 and by 3rd grade I was accompanying the elementary choir and orchestra as well as playing violin and playing guitar for our church's youth group. This ultimately evolved into becoming a professional musician and music educator. Having been a homeschool parent, and currently working in that community, I understand the creativity and passion that children have when learning and the need to listen to a child's heart. Background***35 yrs professional accompanist/pianist/composer/song writer/arranger. Taught music and piano in private school - Bellevue Christian. Currently Sammamish symphony pianist, employed by Northshore and Everett School Districts as pianist and orchestra string coach. How blessed I am to be part of a huge musical family and to welcome new members! |
