Burkina Faso Site Team 2010

About me

Introduction	The 2010 Burkina Faso Site Team is comprised of several different groups within the Collaboratory at Messiah College. Disability Resources- Mobility The Mobility team (John Meyer, Charlie Kimpel, Alex Brubaker, and Justin Stevenson) is continuing their work with the hand and electric powered tricycles through evaluating and documenting current designs, as well as implementing a new "uniform frame" design to simplify manufacture. Education- Summer Enrichment Program The Education team (Angela Hare, Katie Ogden, and Bethany Blackwood) is facilitating a literacy and numeracy program for youth and tutoring older students for placement into secondary education as well as training Burkinabe staff to sustain the program. Energy- Biodiesel Mike Zummo is researching future partnership opportunities and available oil sources for future Biodiesel projects. Electrical Engineering Randy Fish is researching possible electrical engineering projects in both Burkina Faso and Zambia for future use in the Collaboratory and the Engineering Department's project curriculum.
