| Introduction | Welcome to our blog! We are Beau & Yvonne Yates. In October 2004 we were blessed with a son, Jackson Aiden, who was born with a CHD or cognitional heart defect. He passed away shortly after being born. Over the past 5 years we've thought about doing something positive in his name, something to inspire people, something to give back. Yvonne and I wanted to do something to honor our son and make sure his memory lives on. What we found was the Children's Heart Foundation. So here is our idea. I ride a bike across the state of Idaho sometime in 2011 to raise money for the Children's Heart Foundation, our project named Challenge Idaho. I decided on riding a bike across the state since that will most likely harbor the most attention for this project. The CHF is the only foundation of it's kind that makes strides in researching heart problem in infants. For more information on this organization visit www.childrensheartfoundation.org |
