| Introduction | June 2012 - After a wonderful experience on the Camino de Santiago, walking has become a very important part of my life. My Dad had to change his plans last minute to join me on the Camino in France last year, so I said I would join him on the Via Francigena, another pilgrimage to Rome in Italy. We don't have 3 months this time so will do it in stages over the next 3 summers, we are hoping to arrive in Rome in 2014. * * * May 2011 - Change is in the wind and I find myself at a major crossroad in life. I'm hitting the road on a 3-month pilgrimage, walking approximately 1600km on the Way of St. James from Le Puy-en-Velay, France to Santiago de Compostela, Spain. I'm walking, seeking God's direction and taking time to reflect on my next steps in life. |
