| Introduction | I really didn't start out to have a blog, but somehow ended up here and thought why not? I live in a rural area, with a few neighbors. I live next door to my Mom. She helps me with some of my ideas. I have two dogs, Fred and Bear. Both are rescued dogs. Sometimes I foster puppies for our local shelter. They stay full most of the time, so if they can foster out some of the puppies, it leaves room for more dogs to be sheltered. It is an all volunteer shelter. They do a really good job taking care of the dogs and saving many lives. I am an older lady and have one son, a wonderful daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren who are are almost grown. I love to read, and will read almost anything. But I do go through spells where I tend to read one genre more than the others. But my favorite authors are Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Issac Asimov, plus several more. I watch HGTV and DIY a lot. I also like comedies and good crime shows. |

| Favorite movies | I don't get to see many movies, and I am not sure which one is my favorite. I don't really like to watch most of them more than once. But I do like a good comedy, and I like old horror movies. I find the new ones are just too gory. |
