| Introduction | Hi! I’m Janice and I’m a Caregiver. I took care of my grandfather for three years before he passed. I could say “I am a former Caregiver”, but like the Marines, I feel once a Caregiver, always a Caregiver. Taking care of someone you love forever changes your life. I have had some time to heal and reflect, and I started this blog with the intent to support other Caregivers. “Careunity” is a play on “community” because that is what I want to create for all of us –a space of support and true community where we can come together to share, laugh, and learn. Caregiving can be lonely and isolating, but it does not need to be that way. Join me and enjoy! ~ Janice |
